Vinyl Wednesday:Living Colour - Vivid

Just in time for International Women's Day, here's the first of a couple videos of Fred Wesley & The New JB's featuring Martha High.Think (About It) made famous by the recording of Lyn Collins, Martha always sang it with James Brown and Maceo Parker.Thank you Fred for having me on this great gig in Zurich, Switzerland! It was a pleasure.. and yeah you are right, for the connaisseurs of funk guitar, there's the one and only Bruno Speight! In the following videos the light is better and you'll see more of him, promised... stay tuned! - Right at the time when I started saxophone, in 1990, I moved musically from Michael Jackson to rock music. I loved rock music and if I wouldn't just have fallen in love with sax and started to become interested in jazz I would have gone more into this direction.. but then on guitar or bass..Living Colour is one of the best rock bands I think. I saw them live in around 2005 at Paradiso, it was a great concert. Thy played all their hits but also new stuff..
