Just in time for International Women's Day, here's the first of a couple videos of Fred Wesley & The New JB's featuring Martha High.Think (About It) made famous by the recording of Lyn Collins, Martha always sang it with James Brown and Maceo Parker.Thank you Fred for having me on this great gig in Zurich, Switzerland! It was a pleasure.. and yeah you are right, for the connaisseurs of funk guitar, there's the one and only Bruno Speight! In the following videos the light is better and you'll see more of him, promised... stay tuned! - Last Friday Albie Donnelly, Andy Parker and I were featured during The Night of the Saxophones in Baden-Baden.Drummer Ralf Heinrich and pianist Walther Uhling are hosting a bimonthly concert series with Rhythm & Blues artists, every time they invite other artists. Except for Ralf and Walther, the band consisted of the fantastic guitar player Markus Wienstroer and Bolle Diekmann on bass. Tourmanagement and technique: Roland Loges.And not to forget: Dorrey Lin Lyles joined us for several songs and raised the spirits to another level. What an amazing singer!This was my second time here, already looking forward to the next time!
