Gig pics: The Hangar Teuge

Just in time for International Women's Day, here's the first of a couple videos of Fred Wesley & The New JB's featuring Martha High.Think (About It) made famous by the recording of Lyn Collins, Martha always sang it with James Brown and Maceo Parker.Thank you Fred for having me on this great gig in Zurich, Switzerland! It was a pleasure.. and yeah you are right, for the connaisseurs of funk guitar, there's the one and only Bruno Speight! In the following videos the light is better and you'll see more of him, promised... stay tuned! - 2 weeks ago I played in The Hangar in Teuge, just outside Apeldoorn. It's a very nice restaurant next to a little airport. I had to play during dinner so I didn't eat there but everything I saw on the plates of the guests looked delicious. Hope to be back some time and taste some of that food! It's a spacious location where you also can have a get together an probably even make some noise since it is next to an airport, no direct neighbours...Thanks for the booking!
