Gig pics: The Entourage Group / Momo 10 Year Anniversary Party

Just in time for International Women's Day, here's the first of a couple videos of Fred Wesley & The New JB's featuring Martha High.Think (About It) made famous by the recording of Lyn Collins, Martha always sang it with James Brown and Maceo Parker.Thank you Fred for having me on this great gig in Zurich, Switzerland! It was a pleasure.. and yeah you are right, for the connaisseurs of funk guitar, there's the one and only Bruno Speight! In the following videos the light is better and you'll see more of him, promised... stay tuned! - Yesterday an incredible anniversary party of The Entourage Group took place at Momo, that's where the company started out. Amazing food and cocktails lead to opening more places and diversifying into different brands.It was one of the greatest parties I've attended so far. As you can see, the theme was Japan since Momo served mainly sushi. All of the performers were made up and dressed professionally, the preparations took all day.. Make up artists and stylists were working all day long to make everyone look as japanese as possible.Oh, wait a minute, I actually was booked to perform there! :-) I played flute an soprano saxophone, together with dj's Monte La Rue and Meneer van Helden. Rebekka Ling performed alongside me.In other rooms on the first floor Monique Klemann with her band and DJ Covergirl Sunny were performing. In the basement there was another dj (have to find out his name) who was surrounded by 3 bold female dancers who looked like they came out of space. It appears that they came from Moskow.. more fetish dancers were there and walking around, while window geishas were sitting everywhere.. In other, smaller rooms were lots of activities, taking photos in a japanese garden, karaoke, bondage, food fetish, leg show... and everything was done with a lot of care. Very special.
