Gig pics: Momo by bike

Just in time for International Women's Day, here's the first of a couple videos of Fred Wesley & The New JB's featuring Martha High.Think (About It) made famous by the recording of Lyn Collins, Martha always sang it with James Brown and Maceo Parker.Thank you Fred for having me on this great gig in Zurich, Switzerland! It was a pleasure.. and yeah you are right, for the connaisseurs of funk guitar, there's the one and only Bruno Speight! In the following videos the light is better and you'll see more of him, promised... stay tuned! - Slowly but surely it's getting a bit darker and it was cloudy, still warm enough for a short dress and what I love the most in Amsterdam: going to work by bike! Work in this case means dj'ing at Momo.Here you see a part of my old and rusty bicycle. Old and rusty is the way to go in this city, and don't forget to put a big lock around it because otherwise it becomes stolen in no time..Momo was crowded! On a Tuesday. Guess people liked the food and drinks so much they have to come back, even on a Tuesday... I talked to the people on the table next to me and, indeed, they loved the food!!!
