Just in time for International Women's Day, here's the first of a couple videos of Fred Wesley & The New JB's featuring Martha High.Think (About It) made famous by the recording of Lyn Collins, Martha always sang it with James Brown and Maceo Parker.Thank you Fred for having me on this great gig in Zurich, Switzerland! It was a pleasure.. and yeah you are right, for the connaisseurs of funk guitar, there's the one and only Bruno Speight! In the following videos the light is better and you'll see more of him, promised... stay tuned! - Last Tuesday and Wednesday DJ Kit-T, vocalist Eva and I performed at De Coolste Baan Van Nederland. Amsterdam Olympic Stadium converted into a icerink, in preparation of the ISU World Allround Sped Skating Championships in March.When I was a kid I liked ice skating, it was something many kids and teenagers did in Würzburg on Friday afternoon/evening.. I just looked it up, it still exists! Every month Eisbahndisco! :-) After I got into serious saxophone playing I gave it up, too risky for breaking body parts..I would love to try it, epecially at this beautiful stadium but lt's not take the risk..Thanks DDD for the booking!
