Just in time for International Women's Day, here's the first of a couple videos of Fred Wesley & The New JB's featuring Martha High.Think (About It) made famous by the recording of Lyn Collins, Martha always sang it with James Brown and Maceo Parker.Thank you Fred for having me on this great gig in Zurich, Switzerland! It was a pleasure.. and yeah you are right, for the connaisseurs of funk guitar, there's the one and only Bruno Speight! In the following videos the light is better and you'll see more of him, promised... stay tuned! - Lately I have had to cut down a bit on posting gic pics and try to be a bit more selective with my time and focus on highlights... here we go:We performed during the introduction of Miraval, a new rose wine. I met Robert Feelgood around 2000 and following, when he held parties at DJ Cafe Sol. Nice to perform with him once again, it's been a while, good idea. Thank you Harbourclub for having us! Cheers!It was my first time performing in this venue, The Harbour Club Vinkeveen, detached to Apollo Hotel and when searching for the right entrance I saw that there is also a quite big hall for events and parties. Not to forget to mention the Harbour Club terrace, an immense outdoor space along the water, Vinkeveense plassen.
