Gig pics: DJ Charles Bleekveld & Susanne Alt - Afternoon Beach Party

Just in time for International Women's Day, here's the first of a couple videos of Fred Wesley & The New JB's featuring Martha High.Think (About It) made famous by the recording of Lyn Collins, Martha always sang it with James Brown and Maceo Parker.Thank you Fred for having me on this great gig in Zurich, Switzerland! It was a pleasure.. and yeah you are right, for the connaisseurs of funk guitar, there's the one and only Bruno Speight! In the following videos the light is better and you'll see more of him, promised... stay tuned! - Breakers Beach House is the beach club of Grand Hotel Huis Ter Duin in Noordwijk. DJ Charles Bleekveld and I were performing during a private party, the weather was fantastic (first warm day of the year). Charles had to stay inside behind the dj booth but still had a great view; as a saxophonist I have the possibility to walk into the sun and play outside.. perfect way to spend an afternoon!Also I had to make a picture of the cakes! Normally I don't photograph food and I didn't eat any because of a photo shoot coming up in a couple of weeks.. but I still enjoyed the view.. Maybe you can guess what I will eat after the photo shoot...Thanks Huis Ter Duin for the hospitality and for having us!
