Born in 1978 and debuting in 2004, Susanne Alt moved to Amsterdam in 1996, where she has been active on the European jazz scene. Combining her saxophone skills with her work as a DJ, she has released a new album that features a jazz-funk sound. Including original compositions and standards, this album is both a celebration of her musical influences and a showcase of her unique style. The album, recorded in New York last February, features a prominent performance by jazz musicians Roy Allan and others, with vibrant performances filled with groove and sophisticated improvisations.
