We just had 500.000 views on http://www.youtube.com/venustunes, it's so incredible!
Most of the videos are filmed by the one and only Robert Glass ♥. Special thanks to him for being able to be there in the right moment and sometimes holding the camera in - often - impossible positions to catch it right! He's filming without tripod because often there's absolutely no place for a tripod. I think it's amazing how little the picture is shaking. Robert seems to be a tripod himself. We never edit the sound because we believe in the spirit of the moment. And we still want to attract people to come and see us live, live music is the best!
It's amazing to see from where all the views come from, really from all over the world.. Keep them coming!
I use Youtube as a sort of a video diary almost, as my performances vary from jazz to house, very eclectic. Unfortunately I can only be at one place at a time and it's so nice to see that for example a small club gig with 100 people in the audience becomes viewed a couple of 1000 times, which would not be possible otherwise. As a result I got many fans which I would not have had, and I met people I wouldn't have met as well as requests for gigs. I hope we can continue this as long as possible, let's go for the 1.000.000 views!
