In march this year Amsterdam based saxophonist/producer Susanne Alt released her latest album 'Saxify'. It features 36 of her favourite funk musicians she met throughout the years. Amongst them are legendary funk musicians like Fred Wesley, Rodney 'Skeet' Curtis, James Hurt, Reggie Ward.

I love the way she and the band creates this moment of space within the concert and this is also why - I think - visiting concerts is important because then you get to experience the whole context of the concert.
