After the successful release of “Saxify” earlier this year (LP 2x180g vinyl / CD), a series of 18 dance remixes of the album tracks will be released. This is the result of previous collaborations with (inter-)nationally well-established dj/producers such as Opolopo, DJ Spinna and Inkswel. The remixes are the basis of the live performance “Saxify Operations”.
Many of the 36 guest musicians of “Saxify” are also present in the remixes; musicians who worked with James Brown, George Clinton, Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower Of Power and The S.O.S. Band.
On september 1st, the first remix will officially come out, “Elixir” (Opolopo Remix) with vocals by SaraLee and E1 Ten. The other remixes will be released every two weeks on Susanne’s label Venus Tunes.
