Susanne Alt speelt goede dansmuziek, zoals jazzmuziek oorspronkelijk ook bedoeld was. De altsaxofoniste heeft een aanstekelijk toon. Ze jut haar medespelers op en nodigt haar toehoorders nadrukkelijk uit. Ze speelt met haar eigen band uitsluitend nummers van haarzelf of andere bandleden. Bijzondere gasten zijn gitarist Bruno Speight en trombonist Fred Wesley. Het nummer “Music for president” is een aanrader voor alle Obama’s van deze wereld. Met dit derde album heeft Susanne Alt haar plaats in het jazzestablishment definitief veroverd.

You could call it the Candy-Dulfer-school. Young female saxophonists who play funky jazz and play music professionally. Susanne Alt plays good dance music just like jazz music was meant to be in first place. The alto saxophonist has a catchy tone. She’s challenging the other musicians, it sounds inviting for the listeners. With her own band she’s playing original compositions of herself and the band members exclusively. Special guests are guitarist Bruno Speight and trombonist Fred Wesley. The tune “Music for president” is recommended to all Obama’s of this world. With this third album Susanne Alt definitively has conquered her place at the jazz establishment.
